The Ritual Guide

Four steps, one ritual.

The Juje scalp ritual is numbered one through four — the order your scalp meets each step. Here is how to use them, and how to find your rhythm.

Where it begins

A Sunday tradition, reimagined for the modern scalp.

Juje grew out of a familiar ritual — a grandmother's Sunday scalp-oiling, the warmth of fingertips parting hair, the unhurried care of being tended to.

We built four products to live in that lineage, pairing clinical-grade actives with sensory luxury. Used in sequence, they reset, nourish, renew, and condition — scalp first, always.

Scalp health, made a ritual.

The Order

Read the numbers as a sequence.

One through four is the order your scalp meets them. How often you reach for each is the rhythm — and that comes later on this page.

01
No. 1 Scalp Clarifier
Clarify

No. 1 Scalp Clarifier

A dual-stage exfoliant that cleanses and conditions. Pumice and bamboo stem powder lift away buildup, excess oil, and dead skin, while shea olein, squalane, sweet almond and rosehip oils moisturize and colloidal oatmeal soothes. A conditioning copper peptide supports a balanced scalp. This is the reset that preps everything to follow.

How to use
  1. Section. Part dry or damp hair into four to six sections to expose the scalp.
  2. Scoop. With a clean fingertip, take a pea-sized amount per section. A little goes a long way.
  3. Apply. Spread directly onto the scalp along each part line, working section by section.
  4. Massage. Using the pads of your fingers, massage in slow circles for three to five minutes.
  5. Lather. Wet your fingertips and add a little water. A soft, light lather means it's working.
  6. Rinse. Rinse thoroughly, then follow with shampoo and conditioner.
How oftenOnce weekly for oily or buildup-prone scalps; otherwise every two weeks, or as prep before a protective style. If you feel tightness, extend the time between rituals.
02
No. 2 Scalp Serum
Nourish

No. 2 Scalp Serum

A light, fast-absorbing blend of macadamia, moringa and jojoba oils, squalane and vitamin E that moisturizes the scalp and hair at the root. A modern take on the hot-oil tradition — concentrated nourishment, without the heavy residue of petroleum-based greases.

Three ways to use
  • Daily hydrationApply with fingertips or the dropper, massaging into dry areas or the whole scalp. No rinsing required.
  • Overnight conditioningApply before bed and cover with a satin scarf. Shampoo and condition in the morning.
  • Deep treatmentSection to expose the scalp and apply along each part line. Massage five to ten minutes, then let sit thirty minutes — a hooded dryer deepens penetration. Shampoo and condition as usual.
How oftenFrequency is personal. Start with the deep treatment twice weekly and adjust by feel — your scalp will tell you.
03
No. 3 Scalp Elixir
Renew

No. 3 Scalp Elixir

A daily, concentrated treatment that soothes a dry, itchy scalp — with Capixyl™ for hair that looks thicker and fuller, plus LCPeptide™ Copper, shea olein, argan and rosehip oils, calendula, aloe, provitamin B5, squalane and vitamin E. It absorbs without greasy residue.

How to use — targeted only
  • Targeted treatmentPart hair to expose the scalp, dry or wet. Apply with fingertips or the dropper along the parts and to problem areas — especially the crown and edges. Massage gently for two to three minutes. Leave on; no rinsing.

Apply to problem areas only — the Elixir is a targeted treatment, not an all-over application.

How oftenDaily, for best results.
04
No. 4 Hair Masque
Condition

No. 4 Hair Masque

A rich weekly treatment that deeply conditions and restores moisture, smoothing the appearance of damage from roots to ends. VegeKeratin (vegan keratin amino acids), whipped shea butter, coconut oil, squalane and provitamin B5 enhance texture, manageability and shine — without heaviness or buildup. The final, restorative step.

Two ways to use
  • Weekly deep conditioningShampoo as usual. Apply generously to clean, damp hair from roots to ends and comb through to distribute. Leave on ten to fifteen minutes, then rinse thoroughly with warm water.
  • Intensive repairApply to clean, damp hair and cover with a shower cap or warm towel — or use a hooded dryer for deeper penetration. Leave on twenty to thirty minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
How oftenAfter each wash, as the final restorative step in the ritual.
The Rhythm

The order is fixed. The rhythm is yours.

Two steps rinse out on wash day; two live with you between washes. Here is one example week — read it as a starting point, not a rule.

Clarifier — the reset Serum — nourish Elixir — daily renew Masque — condition

Frequency is personal. Adjust by feel, not by rule.

For every texture

One ritual. Every kind of hair.

The Juje ritual is built around the scalp — the common ground beneath coils, waves, curls, and straight strands alike. The steps stay the same; the rhythm bends to your hair and your scalp.
